Clearly, Starbucks is keen to own a stake in the lucrative instant coffee market, although Starbucks denies that Starbucks Via is an instant coffee. Starbucks quoted in its website: -

This is not instant coffee as you know it. This is rich, flavorful Starbucks© coffee in an instant.
