Recalling of products contaminated with Melamine which has been spread worldwide has now reached even coffee products.

According to Taiwan News, The King Car Co., a Taiwanese company, has reported that it has recalled packs of Mr. Brown instant coffee and milk tea containing contaminated milk powder imported from China.

The company says the products may contain small amounts of melamine, a chemical used in plastics. Melamine-tainted dairy products have already killed four children and sickened more than 6,200 others in China.

But King Car said on Sunday that its popular coffee product sold in steel cans is free of the chemical.
