Espressamente Illy is a nice place to chill out

Half & Half

Half & Half which consists of rich liquid chocolate blended with espresso, milk and ice was flavorful and chocolaty and slightly sweet. Retailing at MYR 14, Half & Half is nevertheless worth it.

Neve Fondete

Neve Fondete which translates to "deep snow" in Italian is an iced mocha with a twist. In short though, Neve Fondete is easily the best-ever iced mocha on the planet. It was truly enjoyable with somewhat the perfect amount of sweetness but yet pleasing to satiate. Neve Fondete retails at MYR 14 and that is easily cheaper than Starbucks and most cafes in town.

Verdict: Though Espressamente Illy at Bangsar Village doesn’t serve alcoholic coffee unlike its branch at Pavilion, it still has my vote for top-notch and delicious coffee, easily the best in the region. Espressamente Illy at Bangsar Village is the perfect place to chill out — it has a great ambiance, amazing coffee and great service. Most of all, it serves great coffee at a fraction of a price.

Maxim Cafe Menu Caffe Mocha is yet another flavor from Maxim Cafe Menu range of instant coffee.

Compared to the rest, Caffe Mocha is the sweetest with chocolaty taste.

Pacific Coffee in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Pacific Coffee’s branch in Pavilion KL is located in Level 2 near the car park and Jaguar showroom. Location-wise, it’s quite hard to find. Ambiance-wise, it’s quite humid and not an ideal location for a cafe.

Pacific Coffee’s Espresso Mocha

Espresso Mocha tastes quite chocolaty, unlike the one in Hong Kong. Not sure if it’s intentional. The price is similar to Starbucks’ Frappuccino drinks.

Coffee Bean Cafe Mocha RTD is yet another RTD from Coffee Bean, the others are Cafe Latte and Cafe Vanilla.

Like Cafe Latte RTD, Cafe Mocha tastes smooth and delicious with the exception of richer flavor of both coffee and rich Dutch chocolate. In other words, it’s more chocolaty and sweeter.

Coffee World’s Mocha Chip Frappe is tantalizing and amazingly delightful. It also has plenty of mocha chips as you can see from the pictures. When you are in Bangkok, remember to drop by as Starbucks is not the only place to have good gourmet coffee. What’s more it is also less expensive.
