Almost eight months after Starbucks Corp. began selling its Via instant coffee in Seattle and Chicago, the company extended the offering of the dissolvable drink to the rest of the country and in its Canadian stores on September 29, 2009.
Clearly, Starbucks is keen to own a stake in the lucrative instant coffee market, although Starbucks denies that Starbucks Via is an instant coffee. Starbucks quoted in its website: -

Super Charcoal Roasted Ipoh White Coffee is one of the best 3-in-1 instant white coffees around. The coffee is amazingly aromatic with added freeze dried instant coffee, it’s delicious and one of my favorite 3-in-1 white coffee.
Available at most supermarkets, Super Charcoal Roasted Ipoh White Coffee retails at MYR 10.49 at Cold Storage while other supermarkets sells at around MYR 11.49.
Old Town Hazelnut White Coffee is one of the most popular products in Ipoh Old Town White Coffee instant coffee range. However, unlike the Oldtown’s Hazelnut White Coffee available in the kopitiam, Old Town Hazelnut White Coffee 3-in-1 instant coffee somehow lacks the real flavor the former has. Even though it’s smooth, the original flavor is certainly better than Hazelnut.
Valiant White Coffee is an instant white coffee. Valiant White Coffee has a mild taste and does not taste sweet at all. Maybe this is how all other white coffee ought to taste like. Even though I strongly feel something is missing.
Nescafe has recently come out with Nescafe Gold 3-in-1 to reward its customers.
Nescafe 3-in-1 claims to have a rich aroma and a more distinctive taste. However, it tastes almost similar to its Regular 3-in-1 except it has slightly better taste and nothing really distinctive.
