Starbucks recently introduced Dulce De Leche Frappuccino and Latte in Malaysia after introducing it in other countries for quite some time. Dulce De Leche is a milk-based syrup that has a similar taste to caramel. It is prepared by slowly heating sweetened milk.

Christmas 2007 is almost here and Starbucks Malaysia has some new Christmas drinks for you!
Toffee Nut Frappuccino and Mocha Praline Frappuccino are the new Frappuccinos - each with its distinctive taste. If you are a fan of caramel, you will love Toffee Nut Frappuccino because it tastes almost similar to Caramel Frappuccino except with sprinkles of tiny toasted nuts on the top and has some buttery toffee taste. While, Mocha Praline Frappuccino has more of chocolaty taste in it.

Starbucks has rolled out a special Ramadan Date Frappuccino, an icy coffee beverage flavored with date juice available only during the the Muslim holy month. However, this drink is only at Starbucks in the Middle East. Sad.

As the summer is burning hot, most of us will find icy cold juice to replenish ourselves at most time. Starbucks has come out with two new drinks for summer - Mango Passion Fruit and Raspberry Black Currant Frappuccino Blended Juice Drink.
Raspberry Black Currant Frappuccino Blended Juice Drink is refreshing but nothing to shout about. I still personally prefer Coffee Bean’s Lemon Zest Ice-Blended.

Starbucks Azuki Frappuccino Blended Cream
Yesterday, my friend and I went to try the most anticipated Starbucks Azuki Frappuccino @ Starbucks KL Sentral but turned out disappointed.
Reasons? First of all, both of us were not awared that Azuki Frappuccino has two type of flavors as the print ad shows only one drink. Thus, we anticipated a coffee + red bean (Azuki) flavor but somehow, we found out that “blended cream” actually only means milk + red bean. I don’t usually go to Starbucks for non-coffee drink except Hot Chocolate. Furthermore, a newspaper advertorial has written that Azuki Frappuccino is coffee mixed with red bean. I was dumbfounded. The print ad could be clearer than it is.
I was quite furious and went back to the barista to exchange for a blended coffee version. At first, he refused. After much hesitation and negotiation, he finally agreed to give me the Azuki Frappuccino blended coffee with a sour face. I always thought Starbucks hire friendly people. I was wrong.
However, Azuki Frappuccino blended coffee tastes a lot of better than the blended cream version. Not as sweet as you can actually taste the red bean better. Maybe it ain’t as sweet because of the sour face the barista gave me. LoL!

It’s always true that caffeine makes one happy. What about caffeine plus banana? It sure makes me insanely happy.
You must try the Banana Java Chip Frappuccino because it tastes so good, even the monkeys will love it. Furthermore, you’ll never know when the monkeys, uh… baristas at Starbucks stop making this drink! Couple it up with Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin. It’s heavenly!

Having Banana Java Chip Frappuccino in a lazy afternoon is refreshing!
