Espressamente Illy’s Espresso Shakerato Freddo is a double illy espresso, chilled and shaken with ice & liquid sugar. It is quite strong and not for the fainthearted. Espresso Shakerato Freddo retails at MYR 10.50.

Espressamente Illy’s Greco All’Italiana

Greco All’Italiana is illy’s funky version of an iced cappuccino. No doubt it is better than your regular iced cappuccino as not only it is well-balanced between ice, milk and espresso, it has a little bonus of chocolate powder to top it all. Greco All’Italiana retails at MYR 13.

Espressamente Illy’s Spaghetti Carbonara

While the coffee are great, there are nothing to shout about for the food. Spaghetti Carbonara was not too bad, better than the average cafes that serve pasta but I expect it to be a whole lot better since Espressamente Illy ought to be Italian. Spaghetti Carbonara costs MYR 20.

Verdict: Amazing coffee. I’ll stick to my fave Neve Fondete the next time.

Espressamente Illy is a nice place to chill out

Half & Half

Half & Half which consists of rich liquid chocolate blended with espresso, milk and ice was flavorful and chocolaty and slightly sweet. Retailing at MYR 14, Half & Half is nevertheless worth it.

Neve Fondete

Neve Fondete which translates to "deep snow" in Italian is an iced mocha with a twist. In short though, Neve Fondete is easily the best-ever iced mocha on the planet. It was truly enjoyable with somewhat the perfect amount of sweetness but yet pleasing to satiate. Neve Fondete retails at MYR 14 and that is easily cheaper than Starbucks and most cafes in town.

Verdict: Though Espressamente Illy at Bangsar Village doesn’t serve alcoholic coffee unlike its branch at Pavilion, it still has my vote for top-notch and delicious coffee, easily the best in the region. Espressamente Illy at Bangsar Village is the perfect place to chill out — it has a great ambiance, amazing coffee and great service. Most of all, it serves great coffee at a fraction of a price.

Maxim Cafe Menu Espresso & Latte is one of the flavors from Maxim Cafe Menu range of instant coffee.

Espresso & Latte is particularly strong and distinctive between the three available flavors. It’s also less sweet compared to other flavors.

Priced at RM 4.99 per pack, each pack comes with 5 sticks.

Starbucks Malaysia has recently introduced Creme Brulee Macchiato, available in both hot and cold version.

Unlike the Caramel Macchiato, Creme Brulee Macchiato comes with additional espresso shot and makes a stronger impact too.

Pacific Coffee in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Pacific Coffee’s branch in Pavilion KL is located in Level 2 near the car park and Jaguar showroom. Location-wise, it’s quite hard to find. Ambiance-wise, it’s quite humid and not an ideal location for a cafe.

Pacific Coffee’s Espresso Mocha

Espresso Mocha tastes quite chocolaty, unlike the one in Hong Kong. Not sure if it’s intentional. The price is similar to Starbucks’ Frappuccino drinks.

Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Doppio, like Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Con Panna is a product from Starbucks and Suntory made especially for the Japanese market. Unlike the Con Panna, Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Doppio is less sweet as it is bold and has a full coffee flavor from espresso and only a hint of milk.

Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Doppio also has a nice packaging and is in black instead of white.

Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso is imported from Japan and it is currently available in Isetan supermarket, KLCC.

Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Con Panna which is Starbucks Coffee Company’s joint-venture with Japan’s Suntory to produce ready-to-drink (RTD) premium coffee in the Japanese market. Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Con Panna has a strong coffee flavor from espresso and it is blended with milk and has a hint of sweetness.

A good caffeine boost in a uniquely-designed can, this is a beauty inside out!

It’s imported from Japan and it is currently available in Isetan supermarket, KLCC.

Caffe 1920’s Cappuccino Freddo

Cappuccino Freddo is an icy cold glass of ice cappuccino. And it’s pretty good too.

While Caffe Freddo is made out of a glass of cold espresso coffee with whipped cream topping. Caffe Freddo is definitely for the hardcore coffee lovers as it is strong and yet irresistible.

Angelo Nero is a strong drink with strong coffee and strong alcohol with ingredients such as espresso, amaretto Di Saromo, dark rum, liquid cream and ice cubes. Ossessione tastes sweeter due to the ice cream and other ingredients such as Double Illy Espresso, Baileys, whiskey and fresh liquid cream. Cappuccino Freddo Greco is a non-alcoholic drink and is mixed of Strong Double Illy Espresso, liquid sugar, cold fresh milk and ice cubes and priced at MYR 13 whereas both the alcoholic coffee is priced at MYR 27 each!
