Oldtown’s Enrich White Coffee
Oldtown’s Enrich White Coffee is a stronger version of the regular Oldtown White Coffee you get from Oldtown kopitiam. The taste is only mildly stronger than the classic one. Maybe because I have drank too many cups of these I could not differentiate them anymore.

Oldtown’s Nan Yang Memorably
Oldtown’s Nan Yang Memorably, unlike the White Coffee is less sweet and has stronger taste of coffee. This is because Nan Yang Memorably does not have milk in it. Somehow, there is a scent of sweetness — making this coffee more suitable for the older generation or those with diabetes.

Oldtown’s Twin White-Shake
Oldtown’s Twin White-Shake, unlike the name, is not even a little bit white nor sweet in taste, but it is strong in coffee flavor. However, it is quite frothy due to the fact, it’s shaken not stirred.

Oldtown’s Mocha White Coffee
Oldtown’s Mocha White Coffee is perhaps one of the best white coffee you can get from its kopitiam. Compared to the other white coffee range in Oldtown White Coffee Kopitiam, Mocha White Coffee tastes not only mild sweet but you can taste the white coffee together with the chocolaty taste of the Mocha.

Killiney Kopitiam Coffee
Killiney Kopitiam originates from Singapore’s Killiney Road and the first shop was founded since 1919. Killiney is famous for its French toast and its coffee and tea.
Now, Killeney Kopitiam has branches in Malaysia and Indonesia besides the many shops in Singapore.
Killeney Kopitiam Coffee is nevertheless special as it uses premium coffee beans from Colombia. So, think of it, it is quite worth it. However, Chong Kok Kopitiam’s coffee would beat Killiney Kopitiam’s coffee any day and old school kopitiam is always better than franchised kopitiams.

Chong Kok Iced Coffee
Chong Kok serves authentic kopitiam coffee and the coffee is marvelous be it iced coffee or hot coffee. Furthermore, it serves delicious toast. Old-school kopitiam like this is rare to find.

Chong Kok Coffee
Chong Kok Kopitiam is located in No. 5, Jalan Stesen Klang, on the same row as Klang train station.

Oldtown’s Xi Mut Milk Tea
The coffee in Oldtown Kopitiam is really no big deal. The company has expanded with more branches, but the coffee is getting worse.

Toast Box in Pavilion is located in the Food Republic. Honestly, it’s too difficult to compare Toast Box coffee with Daily Express and the other ‘kopitiams’ in the city, but the service here is really bad. The staff can actually forget I have ordered ‘Thick Toast with Peanut Butter’.

Too many new cafés that follow the old school ‘kopitiam’ style are opening – Uncle Lim, Keluang Station, Killiney Kopitiam and now comes Toast Box, located in Mid Valley Megamall, just opposite San Francisco Coffee on Ground Floor in North Court. Like most of the “kopitiam” style café, Toast Box serves the usual French toast, toast with peanut butter, Nasi Lemak among others. They even have toast with milo!
I have been to Toast Box twice and ordered yin yong ice (coffee mixed with tea) on both occasion. Quite good for a reasonable price. I guess I will frequent these new school of kopitiam more often than Starbucks in the coming months.

Old Town Cafe, which has popularized in Malaysia recently, is famous for its White Coffee products. White Coffee in Old Town Cafe comes with variety of flavors. The usual White Coffee is available in hot and cold version. Hazelnut White Coffee is also available in two versions and even an ice-blended version.
The food here is only so-so, unlike claimed by some other bloggers.
