Toast Box in Pavilion is located in the Food Republic. Honestly, it’s too difficult to compare Toast Box coffee with Daily Express and the other ‘kopitiams’ in the city, but the service here is really bad. The staff can actually forget I have ordered ‘Thick Toast with Peanut Butter’.

Too many new cafés that follow the old school ‘kopitiam’ style are opening - Uncle Lim, Keluang Station, Killiney Kopitiam and now comes Toast Box, located in Mid Valley Megamall, just opposite San Francisco Coffee on Ground Floor in North Court. Like most of the “kopitiam” style café, Toast Box serves the usual French toast, toast with peanut butter, Nasi Lemak among others. They even have toast with milo!

I have been to Toast Box twice and ordered yin yong ice (coffee mixed with tea) on both occasion. Quite good for a reasonable price. I guess I will frequent these new school of kopitiam more often than Starbucks in the coming months.

Old Town Cafe, which has popularized in Malaysia recently, is famous for its White Coffee products. White Coffee in Old Town Cafe comes with variety of flavors. The usual White Coffee is available in hot and cold version. Hazelnut White Coffee is also available in two versions and even an ice-blended version.

The food here is only so-so, unlike claimed by some other bloggers.
